For instance, if you’re deep in an MTT and sitting with pocket jacks you might call an all-in if you have tons of chips or you need a double-up. If you’re sitting in the middle of the pack with pocket jacks and you’re facing an all-in, you really need to consider whether or not you can make the call. Some times the big folds are what will win you an MTT rather then making the big call.
* You’re always going to end up being dealt big hands in an MTT. The players that have a lot of success wait for these hands. You can’t completely sitout while you’re waiting for a big hand either though, you need to make sure you’re at least picking up some blinds.
